San Martino Night - Amaraterra
Info
A bit about San Martino: San Martino is a popular celebration in many regions of Italy, particularly in the south, where it marks the end of the agricultural year. It is traditionally a time to sample the new wine from the year's harvest, enjoy hearty food, and come together for festivities. The festival takes its name from Saint Martin of Tours, a revered saint known for his humility and acts of kindness. The story goes that Saint Martin, while still a soldier, famously tore his cloak in half to share with a beggar in the cold, symbolizing generosity and compassion.
The celebration of San Martino at La Pizzica continues this tradition of conviviality. The rich menu brings together the season's flavours, perfect for enjoying with family and friends over a glass of wine.
From 6 p.m. onwards, La Pizzica will delight you with the following menu:
Special Menu
Fried ball-shaped dough
Hand-made fresh pasta with chickpeas
Ear-shaped fresh pasta with wild broccoli
Fresh short pasta with beans and mussels
Grilled meat with potatoes and salad
